WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDIES MOVING ONLINE
Our three weekday Bible studies will continue to meet by moving online via Zoom. Please contact the Rev'd Liz Parker to join the 7 AM Tuesday Women's Bible Study, the Rev'd Neil Willard to join the 7AM Tuesday Men's Bible Study, or the Rev'd David Wantland to join the Noon Wednesday All-Parish Bible Study.
The Palmer campus is closed. We will keep everyone up to date on when we will be able to resume in-person worship services and group meetings. But that will not be in the near future. In the meantime, if you need to contact the church, please call the church office at 713-529-6196 or email us at . If you are in need of pastoral care, please call the church office at 713-529-6196 and follow the instructions for members to leave a message about that or email the Reverend Liz Parker. Also know that the clergy and our trained lay pastoral care ministers will be making phone calls to everyone in our church directory to check on them, which may take a while to complete.
Sunday Bible Study
Everyone is invited to this Bible Study on Sundays from 10:15 AM to 10:50 AM in the Family Room. We are currently studying the Letter to the Hebrews.
Wednesday Bible Study
During the Fall, we are studying the Old Testament Kings, from Saul to secession. Together, we pray, reflect, and study scripture. — The Rev'd David Wantland, Chancery A102
Men's Bible Study
All men of the Palmer community and guests are welcome and encouraged to gather for breakfast, Bible study, and fellowship at this weekly meeting. The Rev’d Neil Willard will lead the teaching and discussion on Tuesdays from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM in the Parish Hall. This group also serves the community by raising funds for Palmer Outreach programs.
Women's Bible Study
We arrive in business suits, jogging clothes, scrubs, and casual attire, clutching cups of coffee in one hand and our bibles in the other. We greet each other with sighs, laughs, hugs, and anecdotes of our daily news. Someone always provides a nice breakfast treat. We check in, pray, and settle into our lively planned discussions. As the clock nears 8:00 AM, someone prays us on to our daily activities and many have to run from the prayer circle to make early appointments. Others can linger and visit longer. Please consider joining us on Tuesday mornings at 7:00 AM in A101 (Palmer Library).
