Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church is located right across the street from the Texas Medical Center. People travel from all over the country to receive care at some of the world's finest hospitals, sometimes staying in Houston for months at a time. At Palmer, we want to be a home away from home for out-of-town medical guests. Whether you are here for a short stay or the long haul, we invite you to come join our community and let us walk beside you in this time.
If you would like to learn more about how to connect with the Palmer community, or if you need help with specific practical needs, please contact Suzie Dennis. Suzie volunteers regularly in the Texas Medical Center and would love to come visit you and talk more about how Palmer can be your home away from home.
We would love for you to join us for worship on Sundays at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM. We understand that the pandemic and COVID-19 precautions may limit you and your companions from joining us in-person, so we hope you'll take advantage of our online services, available on our Facebook and YouTube pages.
Palmer is a member of the Church Apartment Ministry, a network of Houston churches that seeks to provide affordable apartment living for long-term patients and their caregivers. Click HERE for the application.
If you are unable to go to church and would like to receive Communion, or if you would like to see a priest for pastoral care or Last Rites, please contact The Rev'd Ryan Hawthorne.
