Palmer is pleased to offer a monthly offering called “Reel Theology” where we will discuss online a different film on the first Sunday of every month from 7 to 8 PM. Watch the movie in the coming week, invite a friend to do the same, and join the conversation!
In a remote village in 19th Century Denmark a refugee from France named Babette is taken in by two Protestant sisters. Theologically rich, Babette's Feast is based on a short story by Isak Dinesen, and was the first Danish film to win the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. This is one of the Rev. Liz Parker's all-time favorite movies and she will lead the discussion Sunday, October 3, at 7 PM.
