Every other Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
This 11-part series, part of the Episcopal Church’s “Becoming Beloved Community” initiative, is built around an online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American communities as they intersect with European American cultures. It invites us to walk back in time to peel away the layers that brought us to today, reflecting on family histories and stories and important narratives that shape the collective American story. We will meet every other week, beginning Wednesday, May 19, over Zoom from 6:30 to 8:30 PM to discuss the films and readings in small breakout groups. You can register by using this link.
