DINNER & DISCUSSION FEBRUARY 7 WITH SHARIQ ABDUL GHANI
Join us for Dinner & Discussion on Friday, February 7th. All are welcome! Shariq Abdul Ghani, CEO of the Minaret Foundation, will be our speaker. For the past 11 years, Mr. Ghani has regularly spoken at faith centers, conferences, and educational institutions on topics ranging from American Muslim identity to faith-based advocacy and spirituality. He works with clergy, policymakers, and law enforcement to provide insight into the American-Muslim community. A University of Houston alumnus, Mr. Ghani completed graduate studies in Homeland Security from The Bush School at Texas A&M. He is pursuing his master's degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University. A quote from Mr. Ghani: "We're proud to bring faith communities together to change the world around us. And, we're doing it through the Texas two-step: multi-faith and civic engagement." All are welcome to attend the February 7th Dinner & Discussion at the home of Michael Massey and Katie Pannell. Come at 7 PM and bring a dish to share with about six people, plus $3 each to cover beverage costs. For additional information, please contact Joan Glover:
