On Sunday, November 28 morning, we will have Advent Wreath Making on the Palmer Patio to celebrate the season. The church will provide the greens, and you can bring your own candle ring and candles, or purchase a kit from the church at cost for $15. Contributions towards the cost of the greens welcomed. You can pay ahead of time by clicking HERE and typt “Advent Wreath” in the memo line. Remember to bring your receipt!
The lighting of the Advent wreath is a wonderful way to journey through this season of preparation and expectation. The Advent wreath is a Christian tradition that marks the passage through Advent. Each Sunday, the lighting of a candle can be accompanied by a Bible reading and prayers. An additional candle is lit during each subsequent week until, by the last Sunday before Christmas, all four candles are lit. The Christ candle is lit at Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Questions?
