On Sundays, July 7, 14, and 21 during the 9 AM hour in A102, Palmer's film discussion group, "Reel Theology," will be hosting conversations based on the documentary series "God Save Texas." It is a series of three films directed by Richard Linklater, Alex Stapleton, and Iliana Sosa. It is inspired by the book God Save Texas: A Journey Into the Soul of the Lone Star State by Lawrence Wright and explores the past, present, and future of Texas. You can stream the series on HBO MAX or watch it in person at Palmer. Parts one, two, and three will be screened Wednesdays, July 3, 10, and 17 at noon in A102. Click here to watch the trailer.
